3、wedthesignalofgostopbygestures.Butpeoplewouldmakesomemistakeswhichcausedaccidents.Signalingsystempreventstheaccidentsefficiently.EarlysignalsysteminJapanwasAutomaticTrafficStop(ATS)devices.Thisdevicecouldautomaticallysto
4、pthetrainwhenitreceivedthestopsignal.Evenifthedriverignedthealarmofthetrainbnestopdevicethedeviceonthetrackcouldstopthetrainautomatically.ATSP(AutomaticTrainStopProtection)wasdevelopedtoraiseefficiency.Usingtherespondert
5、osendareceivedatasignalATSPsystemtransmitsinfmationofthedistanceaboutthenextstoptothetrainviathetrackthenthesystemgeneratesatrainspeedcheckingpatternwiththeseinfmation.ATC(AutomaticTrainControl)systemisdevelopedtoresolve
6、problemsofATSP.InATCsystemsafetyoperationprocedurewillbeactivatedtoguaranteethesafeperfmanceofthetrainwhenthetrainoperatmademistakes.Tomeettheneedsofthemodernmassivehighefficienttransptationnewtrafficcontrolsystemsareeme
7、rgingsuchasATACS(AdvancedTrainAdministrationCommunicationSystem)CBTC(CommunicationBasedTrainControl)etc.Withtheintegrationofrailwaysignalcommunicationtechnologytrackstructureofnewpatternadditionaltrainbnefunctions.Thispa
8、perproposesthefeaturesofthecurrentrailwaycontrolsysteminJapanwiththedevelopmenthistyoftherailwaysignalsystemasbackgroundthenshowsitskeytechnologydevelopmentsinfuture.2、RailwaySignalSystemsThefirstrailwaytransptationsyste
9、mbegantooperatein1830betweenrollingstockperfmanceisimproved.Operabilityisimprovedbyindicatingthetrainusageonroutestodrivers.Alongwithinfmationtechnologydevelopssorapidlyanewrailwaytrafficcontrolsystemappears.Thesystemcan
10、maketrainsknowitsownpositioninfmationthedistancewithothers.ThedevelopingsystemiscalledATACS(advancedtrainadministercommunicationsystem).ATACSisanewrailcontrolsystembasedoninfmationtechnologyADStechnology.3、TechnologyFeat

13、edakindofShinkansenDATCinwhichdatacommunicationwasused.TheDATCisofficiallycalledDSATC.ThesystemisusedonKeihinTohokulinecalledDATCwhileinShinkansencalledDSATC.IntheATCsystemthespeedsignalisinthedriverscabwhichreceivedperm
14、ittedspeedinfmationfromthegroundequipmentcontinuously.ATCscentrallogicsystemtransmitsATCsignalstotrackcircuit.ATCsignalsareaboutspeedinfmationwhiletheyareusedastraindetectionsignals.Thelogicdevicecandeterminethesectionon
15、whichatrainispresentbymonitingthelevelofreceivedATCsignalpowerbecausethewheelsofthetrainshtthetrackcircuits.Tosettherackcircuitboundaryspeedpatternistosustaintrainsheadwaywhichisnecessaryftraintrafficcontrol.IntheATCsyst
