2、n is required. As a real-time information system facing to the shop floor, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) can keep two-side communication between top plan system and bottom control system, running through the whole
3、 information flow with great efficiency. As a result, managements can master the real-time field production dynamic in the shop which has important significance to improve shop production efficiency and enterprise’s comp
4、etition strength. It’s proved that the management and manufacturing level can be speeded up after implementing MES. Excellent MES software is the guarantee for implementing the MES successfully, so the first class system
5、 architecture is needed. But the research of software architecture is a weak point in domestic MES research. So, this thesis take the research of software architecture as an very important content, exploring the way to b
6、uild a open MES architecture. This is just a meanful work for develop the MES software. Firstly, the problemes within the domestic MES research are pointed out in this thesis. And two MES architectures which are based on
7、 Component and Workflow technique respectively are illustrated. Meanwhile, the Multi-agent architecture which is well researched is also presented. And then the strength and weakness of these architectures is well discus
8、sed. It’s just a good opportunity for build an open MES architecture with the fastly developing software techniques, especially the all-star SOA and BPM. So, an open MES architecture presented for synthesizing the SOA an
9、d BPM in MES, and the weaknesses which in the architecture based on Component, Workflow and Multi-agent are well mended. With the importance of intergration between MES and other systems, the intergration between MES and
10、 ERP, MES and CAPP, MES and shop control systems are discussed. At last, with the demand of MES in SGMW, a solution for auto manufacturing is presented, and SGMW-MES software is well developed. This system is well implem
11、ented in weld floor, paint floor, assembly floor successfully. The integration between SGMW-MES and SAP, SGMW-MES and PMC are realized. The system’s openness has proved in SGMW-MES implementation. Key words: MES, Open, S
