2、 is also an inherent acquirement of these SMEs. The traditional theories which claimed that the transnational competition only existed among large-scaled companies have been challenged by the SMEs from periphery nowadays
3、. SMEs in the periphery move rapidly to take advantage of new opportunities generated by the creation of global market and global patterns of industrial development. Unlike big companies, they are lack of resources, inte
4、rnational management skills or advanced technology. However, they still have exhaustless energy crushing into the fierce competition. The core proposition of this paper is that these complementarities between the emergen
5、t global economy and SMEs’ innovations are what drive the remarkable success of Chinese SMEs. The academe raises many frames of reference to explain such phenomenon; doctorial papers also have taken these transnational i
