1、在現(xiàn)代網絡和通信模式高速發(fā)展以及全球化背景下，通信文本作為各國間科技交流的重要手段之一，其漢英翻譯也尤為重要。本文是基于自身翻譯實踐的實證研究，研究目的旨在驗證目的論可以有效地應用于通信文本的漢英翻譯并在該理論指導下提出有效的翻譯方法和技巧。在目的論的指導下，譯者對通信文本的文本類型、功能以及翻譯目的進行了分析。進而總結了在自身翻譯過程中未能達到翻譯目的的典型案例，對應提出有效的翻譯方法和技巧。鑒于筆者在翻譯實踐中必須遵守公司寫作手冊中
